Mudkip walks on top of a tree branch. Lotad passes Mudkip, and falls down. It gets stuck between the tree branches. Pikachu and Torchic runs out of their spots to play with their friends. Treecko, who is on the same tree, slides down and knocks into the other Pokemon. When hanging on the branch, Lotad slides off, but the branch whips the other Pokemon into the air. One by one Lotad tries to save the Pokemon, but fails. Unfortunately, they are on a cliff which collapses. They roll down the hill and into a large rock. The rock breaks and tumbles down. The Pokemon stare at a big building shaped with dice.
Team Rocket has finished building their base for the boss. Jessie and James plans to go meet the boss while Meowth stays behind to watch things over. Meowth agrees to do the job, and Jessie and James walk outside. Meowth points to a stage. A 'Welcome' sign along with Seviper, Cacnea, Wobbuffet, and three Whismur appear from behind the curtain. Meowth tells the Whismur to play the maracas. Meowth plans to rehearse the new Welcome Dance for the boss. He has even prepared a baton that allows all Pokemon near it to dance. Meowth presses the button, and the Pokemon start dancing.
The song ends, and Meowth knows that the boss will be glad. He dreams the boss booting his Persian out, and replacing it with Meowth. Now it is time for the Whismur to go back into their cages. Meanwhile, Pikachu and friends run towards the Team Rocket base. Seviper hisses, and the Whismur run back into their cage. The lock is sealed so that the Whismur can't escape. Meanwhile, Pikachu and friends peer through the basement window. Down below is a sleeping Loudred. The Meowth and his crew walks back up the stairs.
The Pokemon slowly begin to step inside. Lotad, having too much excitement, accidently pushes everyone inside the basement. The Pokemon gets up to only see the Whismur in a cage. Pikachu starts to talk to the Whismur by using facial expressions. They free the Whismur from the cage. Pikachu thundershocks the lock, Torchic uses Ember, and Mudkip uses Water Gun. The lock breaks apart. Meowth hears the loud noises from the basement. The Pokemon hides, and Meowth comes running down. Meowth sees that someone freed the Whismur. While Meowth is complaining, Lotad and Pikachu poke their heads out of the barrels. Meowth orders his crew to look for the Whismur. His crew runs Meowth over causing Meowth to roll down the stairs. The baton flies out of Meowth's hand, and lands on Treecko's head. The button has been pressed, and the Pokemon start to dance.
Treecko grabs ahold of a barrel, but falls off. The baton hits the floor, causing the button to be pressed again. The Pokemon immediately stop dancing. Meowth sees Pikachu and friends, and is angry at Pikachu for taking the Whismur. Meowth demands for the Whismur. Pikachu and friends throws a bunch of barrels at Meowth and his crew. The barrels sends them backwards. Pikachu and friends manages to escape in time. Treecko runs off with Meowth's baton. Loudred just stares blankley not knowing what happened.
The Pokemon runs up the stairs onto a patio. Cacnea sees Pikachu on top of the windmill. Meowth demands for the Whismur back, but Pikachu just responds with a Thunderbolt. However, Wobbuffet blocks the attack with a Mirror Coat. The attack is redirected, which knocks Mudkip off. Luckily, Treecko is nearby who extends the baton out. Mudkip grabs onto the baton, and accidently presses the button. The Pokemon start to dance again. Loudred and Ludicolo joins them. Lotad slides down and presses the switch, changing the music. Everyone has grabbed a partner, and starts to dance with them. The patio starts to break because of the stomping and heavy weight. The baton flies out of Treecko's hands, and now Meowth has it now. The baton activates causing the dancing to stop.
Meowth screams as Pikachu and friends runs away. Meowth and his crew starts to chase them down. They run inside, and scatter everywhere. Mudkip tries to climb up the table by using the cloth. Meowth tries to stop it, but all the food topples down. Meowth causes a big mess by running into things. Torchic swings right into Cacnea who falls right onto Seviper. The Pokemon runs over Seviper and Cacnea. Cacnea gets mad, and starts to use Pin Missile everywhere. All the windows and decorations break apart.
The baton is activated again causing the Pokemon to dance. The Pokemon stop dancing, and Pikachu and friends starts to run away from Meowth. They run all over the windmill. Cacnea falls off and lands on a board. On the other side of the board is a bucket that flies in the air. Seviper is chasing Lotad. Fortunately for Lotad, the bucket lands on Seviper's head. Seviper runs right into Meowth. Meowth drops the baton, and it lands on Wobbuffet's head. The button is pressed, and the Pokemon start to dance again. The baton lands into the sand. Treecko grabs onto Mudkip and twirls it around. Mudkip has gotten dizzy. The baton begins to break as sparks comes out of it. Meowth falls into the sand and goes in and out of the mixer. Treecko seems to be having a good time dancing.
The Pokemon start to speed up as the baton breaks even more. Then they start to slow down a bit. A bit later, the Pokemon starts to go real fast. Everything explodes ticking Loudred off. It grabs a pole, and goes on a rampage. Everyone runs away back inside. Meowth falls off the path and onto the ground. A bunch of longer poles collapses into the part where Meowth is standing. Luckily, Meowth didn't get hurt. The Pokemon head in a small red house. Loudred busts the doorway open. Seviper tries to stand up for the group, but Loudred hits a piece of wood which gives support to the tower. The whole thing collapses to the ground. The platform splits in half. Pikachu's side ends up going into the forest. They are headed straight into a cliff, but Lotad's Water Gun protects them. Everyone is happy that they are safe.
Meowth opens the basement door discovering that the whole place is destroyed. Everything comes tumbling down to the bottom of the cliff.
Pikachu and friends waves goodbye at the Whismur as they disappear into the sunset.
