The Pokémon are playing on a beach. Pikachu and Togepi are running up and down with the waves, Totodile is swimming in the water, and Psyduck is floating on the water until a wave comes. Bayleef and Cyndaquil are sleeping. Totodile sprays Cyndaquil with a Water Gun. Cyndaquil begins to chase Totodile. A group of Corsola walks into the ocean. Togepi follows them and sinks. Luckily, a Wailmer brings Togepi back up. Wailmer uses a Water Spout, launching Togepi onto a Yanma. Yanma brings Togepi back to the ground, and then it flies to a house and garden. Pikachu and friends sees the house too.
A Larvitar, Granbull, and Kecleon are walking by the house. Larvitar is in charge guarding the garden. Granbull fixes a minor problem for Larvitar. Larvitar sees that a rock is out of place, and it sets the rock back to its normal location. Togepi sees some Sunkern bouncing by. Togepi does the same, and it knocks the rock out of place again. Larvitar is getting annoyed. Granbull and Kecleon shakes hands with Pikachu and welcomes the other Pokémon. Granbull cries out for the other Pokémon. A Sunflora, Donphan, Sandshrew, Oddish, and Azurill comes running in to the Pokémon. Larvitar is surprised to see that everyone is getting along. Pikachu invites Larvitar over, but Larvitar decides to stay alone. Granbull decides to play Hide-and-seek.
Pikachu looks around and finds a stick, tossing it in the air. The stick spins on the ground. The Pokémon blow on the stick to prevent them from being "it". The stick falls to the ground, and it points to Pikachu. Pikachu starts to count while the other Pokémon hide. Togepi walks beside Pikachu, but Bulbasaur carries Togepi with it. Oddish hides in the ground. Sunflora tries to hide in the flowers, but Sandshrew and Kecleon laughs because Sunflora is highly noticeable. Bulbasaur also hides under the ground. The other Pokémon runs inside the house to hide. Cyndaquil tries to hide between two pieces of furniture, but Granbull scares it off. Granbull between the furniture.
Pikachu has finished counting, and it runs off to find the other Pokémon. Meanwhile, Meowth and Wobbuffet are using a lawn mower. The mower breaks right on the spot. Pikachu walks through the flowers. It sees Sunflora. Pikachu goes to a brick wall. It sees a part of it moving and spots Sandshrew. Next, Pikachu walks to the pool. Pikachu sees a strange looking water spout coming from the pool. Ducking in the water, Pikachu sees Totodile. Pikachu heads over to Totodile and closes its mouth. From above, Larvitar sees Pikachu walking around. Right by Larvitar is Donphan. Larvitar pushes Donphan, and Donphan rolls down the hill towards Pikachu. Pikachu runs as fast as it can and avoids Donphan. Donphan gets stuck in a bush. Now that Pikachu has found everyone outside, Pikachu decides to look inside the house.
Pikachu walks in a room. It tickles Togepi who was hiding on the sofa. Then Pikachu sees a strange looking fire. Pikachu immediately recognizes the fire as Cyndaquil. Larvitar angrily stomps on the ground. It kicks a rock which hits the lawn mower. The lawn mower starts up, and it is out of control. It speeds right past Bulbasaur. Pikachu and the other Pokémon sees the lawn mower out of control. Bulbasaur uses Razor Leaf, but the attack has no effect on the lawn mower. Donphan uses Rollout, but the lawn mower knocks Donphan into the air. The lawn mower makes sharp turns and chases the Pokémon. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt on the lawn mower. The lawn mower stops for a minute. It takes out two saws, and then it starts up again. Totodile's Water Gun doesn't have any effect as the water just shoots out from the other end. Cyndaquil tries a Flamethrower, but the lawn mower dodges the attacks by bouncing up and down. Now the lawn mower is chasing Cyndaquil. Meowth and Wobbuffet are walking by ready to clean some chimneys. The Pokémon runs right past Meowth and Wobbuffet. Behind them is the lawn mower. Meowth and Wobbuffet makes a run for it. Meowth and Wobbuffet aims their chimney sweepers at the lawn mower, but the lawn mower demolishes them with the saws. Meowth and Wobbuffet blasts off into the chimney.
The Pokémon continues to get chased by the lawn mower. They run through a large maze with the lawn mower still chasing it. Larvitar sees them and signals them over. Before the lawn mower can come, Larvitar kicks the lawn mower to another direction, trapping the lawn mower in its place. Unfortunately for the Pokémon, the lawn mower breaks out of the maze, and the chase starts again. The Pokémon hides in a tree, but the lawn mower saws it down. The lawn mower chases Pikachu, Larvitar, and Togepi to a deck. The Pokémon dodges the lawn mower, and it falls into the ocean and sinks. However, the lawn mower doesn't give up. It breaks the deck with its saws and chases the Pokémon again. Everyone gets some logs, and they begin to place them on the ground in a row. Psyduck carries a log, but it trips. The log hits the lawn mower, knocking it out of place. However, Bayleef comes and with its vines, it throws the lawn mower back between the logs. The lawn mower heads up a hill and towards a shed. The lawn mower is lead straight inside the shed where it blows up.
The Pokémon cheers as they have just stopped the lawn mower. Meanwhile, Kecleon has just come out of its hiding place. It was invisible all this time. Everyone helps clean the place up. Afterwards, another game of Hide-and-seek begins. Larvitar tosses the stick up and becomes "it". Everyone scrambles in different direction to hide.
