Ash and co. are at a park resting. They decided to take a break. All the Pokémon are sleeping. Togepi wakes up to see a flock of Ledyba flying. Togepi reaches out to the Ledyba, but falls backwards, and rolls down a hill. The other Pokémon wake up to the sound of Togepi. Meanwhile, Meowth is looking for his way back to Team Rocket. Togepi comes rushing in, and smacks Meowth in the face. Meowth now is falling down the hill across the Diglett and Dugtrio. They end up falling in a deep hole. The other Pokémon comes across the same hole. Marill checks to see if Togepi is in it. Getting no response, the other Pokémon calls out for Togepi. Then they hear a strange noise. Psyduck has fallen behind, and is now running to the Pokémon. Because Psyduck can't stop, it slams into the Pokémon causing everyone to fall into the hole. They fall out of the hole, and into the air. The flock of Ledyba catches them, and gives them a free ride.

Pikachu and friends have landed on a leaf as they say goodbye to the Ledyba. They fall off the leaf and onto the ground. A flock of Spearow and Fearow flies nearby. Out from the forest comes an Elekid. The Elekid doesn't look too friendly. Squirtle puts on his sunglasses to boss the Elekid around. Pikachu tells Squirtle to stop, saying that he will handle it. Pikachu greets the Elekid. They have a sparking handshake with each other. Some of the other forest Pokémon such as Magnemite, Vulpix, Clefairy, and more watches Pikachu and Elekid. Pikachu and friends are shocked to see so many Pokémon in one place.
Meowth is hanging off a tree branch. A Gyarados swims up the waterfall, and throws its body at Meowth. Meowth dodges the Gyarados, who lands back in the water. Pikachu tries to tell Elekid that their friend, Togepi, is missing. Elekid thinks for a moment, and tells the Pokémon to follow him. They follow Elekid in and out of a cave. Elekid walks up a tree vine, and the other Pokémon does the same. Pikachu and friends are out of breath from the dangerous climb. Elekid points up to where a bunch of Exeggute nests are. Inside one of the nests are Exeggute and Togepi. Pikachu runs up the tree to get Togepi. However, the Exeggute doesn't want to let Togepi go. Bulbasaur extends one of his vines to gather Togepi. The Exeggute bites Bulbasaur's vine, and Bulbasaur screams in terror. Togepi jumps out of the nest, but the Exeggute gets Togepi to come back in the nest. The Exeggute are really happy that Togepi is with them. Because the Exeggute won't give Togepi back, the Pokémon walk elsewhere.
They come across a cave with Paras, Sandshrew, and Parasect. The Pokémon walks out of the cave. A beautiful grassy area awaits their arrival. Three Bellossom appear from the flowers, and they start to dance. A bunch of other Pokémon such as Vileplume and Gloom joins the dance too. Pikachu and friends gaze at the dancing Pokémon in astonishment. Pikachu and friends applaudes at the end of the show. Then the Pikachu and friends leave. They end up in a cave filled with dancing Clefairy. The Clefairy uses Metronome causing an explosion. Pikachu and friends get thrown onto a bunch of bouncing leaves. They happily bounce on the leaves. Pikachu and Elekid do some bouncing together. Meowth hears a voice. Pikachu and Elekid flies at Meowth. They grab onto Meowth, and they bounce into a Snorlax's stomach. Snorlax pushes its stomach outwards, and the Pokémon hit the water. The same Gyarados comes out with Pikachu, Elekid, and Meowth on its back. Meowth tries to kick Pikachu off Gyarados. Pikachu shocks Meowth. The shock also gets sent through Gyarados who flips backwards. The Pokémon are flown away as Gyarados jumps back into the water.
Dark clouds start to form in the sky. The forest starts to get darker and darker. A big gust of wind starts to blow on the trees. The wind grows stronger, and the forest Pokémon start to run back into their shelters. Pikachu and friends do their best to not get blown away. Pikachu runs up to make sure the nest holding Togepi is doing well. The rest of Pikachu's friends holds down the other Exeggute nests so that they don't blow away. Rain is now heavily pouring down. The Pokémon are doing their best to keep the Exeggute safe. Suddenly, the other forest Pokémon comes out of their shelters, and they help Pikachu and friends with the Exeggute. The wind is too strong for Pikachu and Wigglytuff (who is helping Pikachu). However, Snorlax comes to help the Pokémon. A strike of lightning tears down a tree. This scares Snorlax. The Pokémon are holding on the nests with all of their might as the wind continues to blow. More trees fall down as the lightning gets stronger.
Pikachu decides to do something. It runs up to the top to battle the lightning. Lightning comes from the sky, but Pikachu blocks it off with a Thunderbolt. Pikachu manages to block most of the lightning off with a Thunderbolt attack. Elekid decides to team up with Pikachu. Together, they both block off the lightning from getting them. Unfortunately, one strike of lightning gets by and creates a forest fire. Squirtle and Marill sprays the fire out with Water Gun. Togepi's nest begins to blow away. Thinking fast, Bulbasaur grabs a hold of the nest with Vine Whip. The other Pokémon grabs onto each other to save Togepi and the Exeggute. The wind is too strong, but Snorlax grabs onto Pikachu. The wind is even a bit strong for Snorlax. Snorlax sees some apples go by, and he decides to eat them. Snorlax lets go of Pikachu, and the Pokémon starts to blow away. Pikachu grabs onto a branch with its teeth to keep the Pokémon from blowing away. Pikachu loses its grip, but Snorlax grabs onto Pikachu just in time. Then Snorlax begins to pull everyone down to safety. Bulbasaur's Vine Whip slips off the nest. Pikachu runs up and grabs onto the nest and Bulbasaur's vines. Everyone is safe. The storm starts to clear up too. A Dragonair flies over the rainbow.
Togepi runs over to Pikachu. The Exeggute are happy. Then a Chansey walks in, and she brings her Exeggute to the others. The Exeggute gather around a Leaf Stone, and they bounce around. The Exeggute glows with a white light. They evolve into an Exeggutor. The Pokémon are happy for Exeggutor.
It's time for Pikachu and friends to say goodbye. They wave goodbye to Elekid and the other Pokémon. Meanwhile, Meowth floats down a lake. He tells himself that he never wants to go to camp ever again. Ash and co. wake up from their naps. They see Pikachu and friends playing in the lake. Tracey assumes that they must've been playing in the lake the whole time. Ash calls out for Pikachu. Pikachu jumps out of the water and smiles.
