This game is similar to Tetris Attack. You line up three of the same color blocks by flipping them on a vertical axis. The game is not as easy as it sounds. The blocks will keep rising and you will have to master the chain/combo system if you ever want to beat the first few levels. To make a combo, you have to line up four or more blocks. This can be hard at first, but it will slowly get easier the more times you do it. Once you do this, you will have to learn how to form chain combos. Basically, you want to create a "chain" of combos by triggering several to fall into place.

The Pokemon license doesn't really fit in with this game. The only sign up Pokemon is the character selection. You can select one of three Pokemon to play against your opponent. It doesn't really affect the game too much, other than your Pokemon making unique sounds and dropping colored garbage rows on the opponent.

There is a 2-D mode and 3-D mode in the game. The 3-D mode is the same except that it's a circular area so you have to rotate the screen. This will take awhile to get used to because you have to always look behind you to make sure that the other parts aren't getting too high. There are also six different modes of which you can play in. They are: One-player Stadium, Two-player stadium, Marathon, Time Zone, Spa Service, and Puzzle University. In One-player stadium, you get to battle other trainers and win badges. The Marathon mode is where an infinite number of blocks comes, and tests to see how long you can last. Time Zone is where you're trying to get the most points with a certain time limit. Pokemon Spa uses a "clear line" to indicate the level you must drop all your blocks under to win. In Two-player Stadium, you can battle your friends.

Multiplayer

The only negative thing there is about multiplayer is that you can only have two players playing at one time. It's ashame that this game doesn't support four players. Nevertheless, it's still fun to play.
