The team heads into a carnival and they find a person named Melvin who is a magician. Melvin tries to put on a show but the crowd demands for their money back. Later, Ash gets hynotized by Melvin and his Exeggcute. In a forest, Melvin sees a group of Exeggutor. Then all the Exeggutor get hynotized and they start to go on a rampage. Charmander and Melvin defeat the Exeggutor with their fire attacks and Charmander evolves into a Charmeleon.
